I use VW 10.1.2 on Mac OS 10.3.8 and until recently VW gas been fine, but now it crashes regularly and on the smallest 2D drawings imaginable. When VW crashes I get no error message other than Apple's submit a crash report option.... When I try to reopen the file I was working on VW tells me the file is damaged and it will try to recover as much data as possible, then before the file drawing is visible VW crashes again. I have lost many weeks work and tried Workgroup Referencing to save lost work, but no luck. VW Viewer 11.5 can't even open the damaged files. After the major loss I started new very simple 2D drawings and experienced frequent crashes, almost every 20 mins. I set pref to save back up copies every 5 mins but even this is very annoying and unreliable. Some auto back up files are also damaged...!! What can I do? I ran Virex and files are clean, I have 1GB RAM and 80GB HD on a G4 PowerBook. Suggestions welcomed.
