  1. I can bring up the Artistic Renderworks Options, but the preview window is black regardless of selecting any of the options. (see attachment). Even though I've directly opened the Cineware app, it still does not show in the Activity Monitor. I've even replaced the app from a backup thinking it might have gotten corrupted, but the restored version is also not seen by the system. At this point, I am able to render things from Wireframe to OpenGL, all other rendering options will not even initiate a progress bar. There have been times when editing objects while OpenGL is running that the edited object will lose texture. Restarting the program fixes that problem. I've also attached an image of the Texture Editing window and everything seems to work ok. Any other possible fixes you can think of?
  2. Thanks again, Dave. My computer is old by technology standards, but does meet/exceed requirements. And yes, the Edit Texture dialog comes up and shows a preview of the texture, but only when I choose the duplicate and edit texture option. Trying to create a new texture from the Resource Manager simply closes the RM window. I am able to create new hatches and other options from the drop down menu. Another thing that happens after duplicating and editing a texture, the preview/thumbnail in the RM and in the Object Info window look corrupted. (see attached screen shot, specifically the Grass Cloth textures created today). It's hard to not associate these new problems with my recent "upgrade" to Mac Big Sur, though it could be coincidental.
  3. Thanks Dave. Activity Monitor shows no sign of it running, but I found the Cineware app and launched it. Activity Monitor doesn't reflect that it's running, but I'm able to render things. The only way I can create a new Renderworks texture is to duplicate an existing one and then edit. There seems to be a lot of buggy-ness to how things are running. Do any of these things sound familiar?
  4. I'm having the same issues with Renderworks. I think it may have something to do with a recent OS upgrade. I'm tempted to just reinstall the software, but I don't want to corrupt any settings that I've put in place. I'm also concerned that the reinstall won't recognize my serial number/license and I'm not sure where the virtual documents with that information are. I'm running VW 2021 with a perpetual license on an imac now running 11.7.2. Any suggestions for safely restoring VW to its operational condition?
