  1. I run it on a 2nd gen iPad pro, which I think is older.
  2. I set autosave based on number of actions, not time. Should solve this issue. I also set the number of undos to the same number.
  3. For me, some are better (3D tools), some are worse, and many are just different (which doesn't help). What's disappointing is that there doesn't seem to be a high priority for making the icon language consistent and clear, or if there was a priority that it was not successfully accomplished.
  4. Other items that should be selectively installed: 5. Components that you don't have a license for. I have an Architect license, yet have unusable Landscape & Entertainment tools and content installed. 6. Metric and/or Imperial content
  5. Agree completely. Should be easy to implement (easy for me to say, at least). Does anyone have a workflow that this suggestion would break?
  6. For future reference, you can try https://www3.vectorworks.net/vectorworks-bug-report but don't expect to get a response or even confirmation the bug report was received. The forum still seems like the best way to do this. See: https://forum.vectorworks.net/index.php?/topic/97410-idea-for-tracking-viewing-tech-support-request-status/ https://forum.vectorworks.net/index.php?/topic/93660-service-select-support-add-a-ticketing-system/
  7. Depending on what you want it to look like, you can. In the Attributes palette, click on the end marker drop down and select custom. See attached settings screenshot and sample file. I also attached a different approach to framing plans using symbols that lets you resize the group, keeping the small circle unchanged. It could be improved by replacing the end marker symbols with the custom arrow markers. Framing End Tick.vwx
  8. Modify menu -> Scale https://app-help.vectorworks.net/2024/eng/VW2024_Guide/Objects_edit2/Scaling objects.htm
  9. Take a look over here: and other tool icons:
  10. Only a partial set. A bunch must be hiding somewhere. @Robert Anderson @Stephan Moenninghoff Is there any reason VW can't share all of the SVG (and/or PNG) files that are available in Workspace Editor -> Tools -> All Tools to help us users set up SteamDecks so we can be more efficient in our workflows? @LDraminski has Elgato been contacted or considered as a partner product?
  11. My previous comment was probably more relevant to this thread: Too late to edit or delete it, so I'll repost there.

Is there someone at VW who can look into working with Elgato as a partner product?
  13. Some (most?) of us only use VW, so changing naming conventions to more closely resemble other programs that we’ll never use would be a total useless nightmare.
  14. Don’t forget to vote on the related Wishlist item:
  15. EDIT: Snarky comment removed. I just emailed a different request and received an automated answer with a case number. Thank you. My 09/17/2023 email is still unanswered.
  16. @JuanP & @jblock I emailed on September 17th with an issue and have not even received a confirmation, let alone any support. I understand there's a lot to deal with when a new version is released, so I'm not expecting immediate support. However, I would expect to receive a confirmation within a day or two even during busy times. It still feels like a black hole.
  17. There's a Wishlist request related to this. Please add your vote (up arrow at top left of page):
  18. It took me a bit but I eventually decoded what it's meant to signify. A paintbrush, rainbow, or painter's palette shape might have been a little - but not much - better.
  19. Knowing what’s what in the Organization window.
  20. Quoting myself from 2020: "While I also dislike the aesthetics of the new graphics, the bigger problem I have is that they are harder to tell apart at a glance. It's more of a functional issue than an aesthetic one. I find myself having to look around for tools rather than heading straight to them as I did with the more distinctive icons in previous versions. An unnecessary hiccup to interrupt my workflow. " I think 2024 is better than 2020-2023, and I can't even remember the 2019 icons anymore. However, most are still not distinctive and clear enough for my taste. A notable exception are the 3D tools (e.g. extract surface) that have a splash of red that clearly identifies the tool. Maybe future iterations can build on this, even using different colors to identify different families of tools.
