I am trying to sort out how to use the Chain extrude tool that sit in Building Shell Tool Box. The goal is to create dentals on a crown molding. I've watched the only 2 youtube videos out there and read the instructions from the vectorworks website but every time I attempt i get the same error message "No Valid objects were selected to form the profile. Edit the profile group to modify the temporary objects that were created" what am I missing here, should the object selected to be the chain be a 2D polygon, 3D object, do I need 2 objects to make this work? Anythign would be helpful, there not much info out there thanks Keeley

Hello, I've imported an Auto cad file into 2023 vectorworks. The 2D and 3D attributes have all imported cleanly and visibly on a Layer as well as Classes. The problem it when I go into Sheets the the view port is there but the geometry is invisible. All classes and layer are set to visible. When I go into the View port as a Design Layer it is also invisible. How do I view the geometry? What the issue is I am finishing a project on a job that was started with auto cad by someone else and I only draft in vectorworks. Are the sheets capatable? Any Insight is helpful
