  1. I figured out it was the margins that were causing the issue.
  2. @PNWPaulSame thing happened to me and removing the GenerateImage.vlb from the plugin folder fixed it for me.
  3. Attached is the fileTemplate.vwxe
  4. I am trying to get my title blocks set up and I really like the format I had in Autocad, I am however, having trouble getting it to line up in the title block layout there seems to be a border that is preventing me from centering the title block objects on the page. Is this border removable so I can center my title block on the page or do I need to scale down my title block (not ideal) to make it fit within the border in Vectorworks? No matter how I position the objects in the title block layout window, they always move when I return to the sheet layer. Screenshot is attached
  5. @Dave Donley Removing the GenerateImage.vlb file worked. thank you so much for the suggestion!
  6. I have sent an email for help. Nothing seems to be working I was able to get it to finally open a new drawing, but it is glacially slow compared to before the update. Also according to the Windows task manager the Vectorworks program is using almost 4.1GB of Memory which seems like a lot. I will update the post once I know more. Thinking of uninstalling the program and reinstalling it, but I am waiting for support to reach out first. Thanks for all the suggestions so far.
  7. I am using an Nvidia graphics card. I will definitely look into this. Thank you for the quick response
  8. I just updated to 2024 v4 and now the software keeps crashing when I try to open a file. I have restarted the computer several times even powering it off completly and letting it sit for a minute and still crashes when I open a file. I was hoping this update would fix the issue with the settings box not resizing in the object info pallet, but this has made the software 100% unusable. Is there a way to revert back to the previous version? Beyond Frustrated at this point.
  9. I have a question regarding the Vectorworks 2024 Viewer Application. I have sent the file to someone who doesn't use Vectorworks and told them to download the viewer and gave them the link. That part has worked however they cannot change the visibility of the Layers and classes, so if I tell them to turn off layers so they can better see something they do not have a way to do it. Is this a normal thing for the Viewer application or am I missing something?
  10. Looking for the L Acoustics KS28-Bump Dual Subwoofer Bumper. Can this be added?
  11. I am still seeing this 10 years later. Is there a way to go back to the default lighting, or is it a turn off fixture class for all the lighting fixtures thing still?

  13. So I have done done more playing and I was able to get it to change to a texture. but once I do it I cannot go back to just using a color in the attribute window. I am sure it is probably just an operator error, but I don't know what I am doing wrong.
  14. I am trying to change the color of multiple doors on an entire floor at the same time. I use the select similar tool and select the door which selects all of the doors, and In the object info panel, it says 144 door objects in walls are selected. I then click the settings button in the object info pallet to open the door settings box. From here I tell it to set the panels to use material and select the material I want the doors to be (in this case a red oak). I then click the ok button and it returns to the active drawing, but it only updates the Item that I initially Selected. My question is, is this normal operation and if so is there an easy way to go about updating my doors all at once or am i going to have to do each door individually or delete and re-insert all of them?
