  1. Yes it was the label legend! Very odd, thanks for figuring this out! I'm uploading a screen recording show this. Forums.mp4
  2. Thanks for the response! Based off your note, since I ran the schematic command early on in this files life span its just stuck with that first instances grid option even if that original schematic was deleted? So in order to have the sizing I want, I'd need to start over from scratch essentially?
  3. Since none of the vectorworks lighting symbols have the correct power connections associated with them I had to create them but am having issues. I created a Colorsource Spot V symbol with a True1 In/Out and DMX In/Out and a LUSTR2 Fresnel with Powercon In/Out and DMX In/Out. Both symbols have the appropriate connections in their OIP, and when coping/pasting there is no issue. However, when I try inserting the LUSTR using any of the tools, the symbol suddenly gets True1 In/Out connections as well as and addition DMX In/Out (For a total of 4). This is very frustrating, since I can't use most of the spotlight tools because of this glitch. I have tried this using a completely blank document and newly created symbols but the problem remains, making it seem like a software issue rather an document issue. I've had this issue with both 2025 and 2026.
  4. Whenever I make a power planning schematic the connects are way oversized, making it impractical to actually use the tool. For example, when making a schematic with 1 light and 1 circuit, with a cable length of 5', the schematic lines are 50' in length (compared to the drawing scale). I can scale the lines, but then when you try to manually match them up to devices the sizing is off (naturally). You can resize either end of a cable, but when you have more than 2 connections its tedious. I tried adjust the power planning schematic settings but those don't seem to do anything. Any insight is appreciated!
  5. I have a file that I'm testing custom power planning devices on. To test things I added a single SourceFour instrument. In the Power Planning Palette, under Power Overview it says there is only 1 lighting instrument. However, both Connection and Phase says there are two for some reason. 734533554_CURRENT3D.vwx
  6. When working with the power planning features in vectorworks 2023 I noticed that devices don't populate in the Power Planning Palette unless they're connected to a power source. Is this intentional or am I missing something? This makes patching difficult since you can't patch from the palette or from the "Power Patch Selected Objects" command, and only from the OIP. Additionally, patching for the OIP doesn't seem consistent, with you have to select the correct patch on both devices before they read as connected, but even then they're really not patched.
  7. Have things changed from 2022 to 2023 in regards to making custom power items? I'm attempting to create a simple stage pin port so I can patch conventional fixtures and get cable lengths. I'm following the instructions found here however nothing appears in the object info palette after I exit the symbol.
