  1. Thank you for the comments. It's much appreciated.
  2. Hi, I'm working on a large scale development of a city block. The BIM coordinators have a preference for all models to be in Revit 2021 format. We are using Vectorworks 2023, which can only export to Revit 2023. Does any one know of a workflow where we can export from Vectorworks 2023 to Revit 2021? Any comments appreciated, Thank you
  3. Tom, Thank you, that's fixed the problem. Matt
  4. Tom, Many thanks for your response. You are correct, the component are constructed back to front. The left side of the wall arrow is inside. Is the best way to address this to flip the wall style and then revers the faces on the model? Thanks, Matt
  5. Dear All, I am attempting to insert a window sill as part of the window tool. When I click on the 'sill' button the sill appears under the window, however it is facing the wrong direction. The external face of the cill faces internally into the building. When I click the 'flip' button for the window, the window may flip but the sill remains in the same place (facing the wrong direction). Please see the attached screen shots of the plan and section of the window. Does anyone have a work flow which can place the sill facing in the correct direction? Is it part of a wall setting which I have set out incorrectly? Thank you,
  6. Tom W. Many thanks for your comments, this appears to be a workflow I can use.
  7. Hi, I have a project where the substrate of the external wall changes along the length of the wall. I have an issue where the floor slab won't bind to the wall substrate after the second change. I have 2no. questions: 1 - Which wall join tool do I need to use to join 2no. wall styles with different substrates? 2 - How can I bind the slab to the wall substrates and ensure the bounding is retained? I have attached an image below for information. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you
