  1. I am experiencing this in vw2024 on both PC's home and work. Both have 32GB of Ram but different processors. My home laptop is a Ryzen 4600h and work desktop is an i9. On both machines vectorworks does not uses more than 16% of processing power but sometimes memory goes up to 90%. Vectorworks crashes when updating the site model and gives all types of errors on landscape areas and hardscapes... I call for assistance with the official distributor in Portugal and he just opened my files on his old 7 yo macbookpro and everything was working well and very very fast. I am very disapointed with this program because if it is not optimized to work with windows they should not sell it. Or should be provided as a BETA program. It is very frustrating when you put confidence on this and in a middle of a work you loose everything or cannot move forward. I see similar posts like this all over the internet and no solutions.
  2. Thank you Pat, I just started using vectorworks 1 year ago. And I can say I am experiencing a few issues. For example VW2024 does not work on my desktop at work .. I am currently in contact with vectorworks official supplier here in Portugal, but there are no answers since November. Thank you again.
  3. Hi BartHays, Thank you for your answer. It did not make any difference to change the graphics card like you sugested. I already purged the file too. And everytime i try to send an object to the surface, it takes ages or crashes. At this point after all the work I am a little worried.
  4. Hi Dsmith2300, Can you please share that post you find? I am experiencing many errors on windows, at the point of not being able to bring plants with image props to surface of the site model...
  5. Hello everyone, Re-using this topic I would like to ask how do you guys cover what is below the surface so when you create a section viewport you don't see what is below the section line. A friend proposed me to go to annotations and draw a polygon over the section and fill with white, or grey whatever I like. There is no VW automated way to do it? I know that in the advanced properties we can choose some parameters and attributes, but I've tryed different combinations and nothing seems to work. Thank you in advance
  6. Hi Chuck97, I hope you're well. What you did to make it work. I'm just starting in VW and I have the same problem, but I am in a PC not Mac . Don't know what to do more.
