  1. Hi Michaelk, thanks for the above... I tried moving the origin and it still didnt work. I think I was because it was too far from the internal origin as I tried moving the model to the internal origin location and after doing that it worked. Thanks, Max
  2. Hi All, working through my first project and I am up to the roof. when I use the AEC roof model function and it works great in plan view. However, when I got to look at the model in 3D or Orthogonal the roof disappears. I have tried modelling the roof selecting the exterior walls and drawing a poly line, both have the same result. I have all my layers and classes turned on, when drawing the roof I am on my roof layer. If anyone would be able to help trouble shoot this issue that would be greatly appreciated. 1409270668_913Dale(current).vwx
  3. Hi Tom... That did it! I would have never guess that being the issue. Thanks for the help.
  4. Hi All, I am new to Vectorworks and I am working on drafting my first house after completing a few of the sample projects on Vectorworks Academy. I am trying to model the slabs (12" floor joists with sheathing) but when I use the slab tool it states "A slab cannot be created from the bounds of these objects. pick a series of connected walls". I have tried change the wall to a simpler wall style, using the wall joining tool to ensure they are connected, redrawing the walls such that they are all drawn in a series, starting a new file, etc. If someone could help me trouble shoot this issue that would be greatly appreciated. I have attached the file for reference. 360141954_913Dale(current)R1.vwx
