Problem with Vectorworks 11 reinstall install

I was running V11.0.1 with the dongle plugged in for about 1 month. I unplugged the dongle today then plugged it back in . however , vectorworks refuses to see the dongle and will not start up. I have deleted all preferences and reinstalled but the problem persists. It says"a vectorworks dongle could not be found..." Th edongle light is on and is plugged into the back of the G5. Any help?? Thanks
