  1. I'm having the same issue on my MacBook Pro. Fresh install of 2009 on a brand new laptop.
  2. For what it's worth, I'm also having this problem. It's VERY difficult to be productive when using just the laptop trackpad. I hope this fix comes soon.
  3. I just applied the update and it fixed the crashing but I still can not import a PDF. Now I get the error message "This Plug-in Object file is missing. Check to make sure it is in your "Plug-ins" folder. Can anyone tell me where to find this plug-in so I can add it back?
  4. For some reason, I can no longer import a PDF without my copy of VectorWorks crashing. Is anyone else having this issue? Vectorworks 2008 13.0.1 (82099) MacBook Pro 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4 GB SDRAM
  5. Katie, I think this is something else. I had exported the file, zipped and emailed it to a co-worker earlier in the week with no problem. She was able to confirm the same file size. Sometime during the week, when I tried to send her a revised file, it exploded to 811 meg when I took the same process to export and compress. I would be happy to send you the file (13.5 meg) for you to see if you like.
  6. I have a file that is 13.5 meg. When I export to v12 or v11 it blows up to 811 meg and converts the original file to 811 meg as well. Any ideas? VW 13.0.0 (78970) (SP1) Mac OS X 10.4.10 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
  7. I have created a 3" square and extruded it 10'. I would like to take this solid and duplicate array (circular) it upon it's center and have it place each copy on top of the previous (raise each copy of the solid 3 inches). I want the piece to make 2 complete revolutions and grow in height accordingly. I guess it would be similar to a DNA molicule when finished. Does anyone know a simple way to accomplish this?
  8. I am making a video screen with a "mask" in front to hide certain portions of the screen from view. I created the tiles of the screen and then duplcate arrayed them into a curve - so far, so good. I would like to take the "mask" and form it to the front of the video screen which is curved. How do I take a pre-existing 2D shape and from the top view bend or warp it to match the curve I need?
