  1. So I kind of have what I want if I do an issue each time I also do a revision, it gives me a nice worksheet the way I want it. The only problem is that the first column shows dots instead of letters, and that because of that everything is moved ... So sheet 001 should be REV B, sheet 005 Should be up to REV B as well ... it's moved them all ! Any idea why ?
  2. Hi ! Thanks for your answer, I am not sure how you did this criteria though as mine doesn't seem to show the same things ? When I create a criteria, I can't select 'titleblock' first, I have to go through 'type' and there is nowhere to select ' is active' either, not sure how you have done that ? Also it is getting closer to what I want as it is showing the revisions, but not in the way I would ideally want which would look more like a column per revision for example I had managed to get this one using the issue project issue history and modifying to show the revision but it doesn't automatically update, everytime there is a new revision I need to modify it... Any idea how to get this to work in a better way ? Thanks so much for your insight!
  3. Hi All, I read all the articles on this forum regarding this subject but couldn't find an answer to this issue. We mainly use REVISIONS for our projects and not issues, as we do need to be able to issue sheets independently without their numbering being updated everywhere, so revisions work well for us. We want to be able to issue a transmittal that records all the revisions, their date, as the exisiting one does with issues as per attached photo. I tried changing the record in the worksheet, and modify it on all the different worksheets possible but it doesn't give me what I want. Even though it seems pretty simple, I want this transmittal to show REVISIONS instead of ISSUES. Any way I can do that easily ?
  4. Good morning everyone, I feel like this is a common glitch and usually works after a restart but this time it doens't! I have been stuck on it for days and just loosing time, I can't go back to using my file normally it's very frustrating. It started with me copying the windoor objects from my PLAN file to my WINDOOR SCHEDULE file, modifying some windows in there and wanting to copy back to the PLAN file in order to be able to copy the parameters/paste onto the existing windows. It wouldn't allow me to do so. When I would copy a window from the WINDOOR SCHEDULE file it would come without mullions, wrong dimensions ... I chatted with vectorworks support and they recommended running a script to show hidden windoor objects which I did and all my issues started there. I had this attached conflict message a lot. I then created a new file, imported layers and then it worked I was able to copy the windows and they would come well. Except all my doors dissapeared, and I started having glitches all around. For example, my windows jumped to another height, I can't select it, have to force it, and when I do change the sill it just dissapears. If for example I copy and paste in place the wall that has the windo in it, the window is gone completely. I can't work my way around that. Please help !!!!   5. Hi all, We are working on vectoworks 2023 and felt like we would give the cloud services a try! As we already use the Google drive we tried the integration which worked. But from there we are a bit lost on what is the process to get our files syncing ? If everything is on the drive, and I connect through the VCS, then do I need to download the file to work on it ? But I would loose the SYNC feature I guess... For example, could we use the 'copy to home' option to get this folder copied to our VCS folder on our computer. Work on it for a bit, it syncs back to the drive and once we are done we remove the home copy. Would that work ? We can't seem to be able to share a google drive folder through SYNC and EDIT option. is that normal ? Also we can't download any file that sits on the drive, we all get error messages 'failed - Network error'. Everything seems so complicated ! We would be happy to migrate everything to the Vectorworks cloud and only use from here as we got how it works now but we only have 20GB and can't find anywhere how to buy more storage space, that doesn't seem to be available. We are just curious to see how everyone is using this, are we doing the right thing ? We work across cities and would lo have all our projects sitting on the cloud and syncing , able to access anything from anywhere as vectorworks says. Thank you !
