  1. Hi Tom, Yes I did think of that when making a cup of tea!!! I'll try it and revert back.
  2. Hi Tom - thanks for your input. It's Eastings Northings & Height Survey input data. So all as excel files. Do you think it might be possible to adjust the edit the site boundaries, so they overlap and then add them- just a thought!!!
  3. I have been sent 10 set of survey input data. The site do not intersect one another but they do align to make a a complete site. Is there anyway to 'compose' them to form one site model?
  4. Have set up a camera view of my project on a Sheet Layer. With Shaded Background Renderworks setting - then tried to add a Sketch Foreground Renderworks setting - when VW processes this the image viewport goes Black and white - then it adds the Top/Plan view of the buildings to the viewport, see image. Is there anyway to overcome this? Why does VW never work when you need it to do something simple?!!
  5. It would be good to be able to get walls closures to work on sections in the wall tool. They look very poor quality at the moment, making drawings look unprofessional, at eaves and around windows.
  6. Do I convert the sub-division in to a Nurbs object and then use the Free Form Truss marionette?
  7. I'm just getting to grips with sub-divisions (I know, late bloomer!) and have formed an organic roof structure. This is for a concept design, but am planning to use a glass roof and therefore need to form the supporting joist/structure. How can I do this from the sub-division? It appears from the VW video there's a marionette that can create such a structure. Does anyone have the marionette files/tool....and how do I use the marionette tool as I've never used them before either!!!! 😱 Have looked through the marionette section and found a Freeform Truss file...do I convert the sub-division in to a NURBS object and then use the Free Form Truss marionette? Any help, greatly appreciated... The form I have created
  8. Is there anyway I can apply an end cap the top off a wall section; or a roof slab too? Seems to only work in plan. As I would like to stop the outer leaf of masonry below the rafter line. While the insulation to underside of the roof needs to stop at roof/floor junction. Any help appreciated.
