  1. @Dave Donley @SteveJ @inikolova The remote seems broken again with V2024 and it stalls "Initializing the connection...". Is there a new work around to get it working? I tried using the work around as last time but that didn't work and I have the same issue on the iPad and iPhone apps in automatic or manual connection mode. Frédéric "Oaktown"
  2. @bbudzon I forgot to mention that when the floor mounted option is selected the image/video is rotated 180˚ from the source which seems to be the opposite of what it should be.
  3. @bbudzon I just sent you my files via DM. Here is a link to another screen grab to show that the 4-corner keystoning doing the odd tiling behavior. Another thing that's been annoying is that when the 4-corner keystone menu is open, it comes on top of the Vision window and if you click on the main window, the 4 corner keystone window disappears behind the main window and you can do anything until you move the Vision window to reveal the keystoning window.
  4. @bbudzon I was able to recreate the 4-corner keystoning issue in 3D. So I created a new 1x1 NDI source with my content placed in it and I'm getting the same issue as if I was to use the Auto Aspect Ratio option but if I go back to my original NDI source which is sized 2x1 and uncheck the Auto Aspect Ratio option then it behave properly. A couple of other issues: I'm also getting a repeat of the NDI source when my source is 1x1 so when I do the 4-corner keystone, i'm seeing the content multiple times I have to select the source twice before it can be validated 4-corner keystone with 1x1 NDI source.mov
  5. @bbudzon I'm not sure what I did the first time around but I tested again and this time the other 3 corners stayed in place! How do you get the background to change to green in your keystoning window?
  6. Thanks @bbudzon but unfortunately, unchecking the Auto Aspect Ratio and with the Aspect Ratio set to 1.00 (1:1) yields the same results 😢 so I'll wait to hear back from you when this is fixed.
  7. Thanks Jesse, Take a look at the screen recording to see how the 4-corner keystone has a strange behavior. Moving one corner should just adjust that corner and the other three should be static until adjusted but when you move a corner it makes the image move in 3D. Screen Recording 2023-09-15 at 15.36.47.mov I don't think I should be the one to make suggestions regarding what projectors are used these days because it really depends on where you work but I'm just surprised to see the selection of projectors in that list! For instance both the Barco CLM 10K was discontinued in Oct 2011 which is nearly 12 years ago...! I would personally prefer to have a better selection of generic projectors with typical zoom lens options and the ability to just hide the geometry of the generic projector so that I can use the actual projectors I've spec'ed in my project.
  8. Great new feature with a long ways to go!! Projectors in the list have "zoom" lenses but I don't see any parameter to adjust the "zoom. Also we do need the ability to have a 0.35:1 lens option or a zoom in that range (0.3~0.4:1) and it'd be great to have short throw zoom lens options in the generic section (0.64~0.77:1) I don't see a way to adjust the horizontal or vertical shift to match what projectors can do without having to rotate the projector on the X or Y axis which changes the keystone. Using the four corner keystone seem to have a weird behavior since moving of of the corners seems to move the other three in 3D. Also out of curiosity, I'd like to know who picked the projectors in the dropdown list! This is a list of old dinosaurs that have mostly been discontinued for years and some are not even video projectors. We're in 2023 so please give us the current projectors on the market not a list of things you find on eBay! And why do we have a generic chinese projector out of all things!
  9. @klinzey so when I use a projector symbol in a video screen, there is no way to pull that information directly from a data tag without having to create a new record that get attached to the video screen? Also, why is the wattage not updating to reflect what the attached projector has in its _VS-ModData record? That seems like a bug or an oversight. Frédéric "Oaktown"
  10. @inikolova It worked so thank you so much for the help! Frédéric "Oaktown"
  11. I'm trying to pull information for a projector that is part of a video screen as an imported symbol with _VS-ModData record for a data tag but I'm not being successful. When I change the default projector symbol to one that's in the library, the information from Video Screen doesn't update and I don't have access to the projector's data so in order for me to pull that information, I'd have to associate a new _VS-ModData record and fill it out or create a custom record with the information I need and associate with the screen object. Is there a way to attach the projector's _VS-ModData record directly to the video screen (or blended video screen) so that the wattage is reflected in the screen object and available as data in the data tag? It seems that the wattage field updates when I use one of the default projectors but not when I use a projector symbol with a _VS-Mod Data record attached to it. Any thoughts? Frédéric "Oaktown"
  12. @inikolova Thank you for the zip file but it's not working. When I run the command in terminal whether as indicated or as super user (sudo), I get the following message: No such xattr: com.apple.quarantine. I've tried to replace the file in the plug-in folder but it's still crashing VW.
  13. Thank’s @bbudzon, it does make sense somehow but at the same time it’s not something that one can easily figure out on their own without painful trial & error so I totally agree that this should be documented to make it easier for people to use this on their project that include video assets. Also it would be good to document how to effectively utilise image props with alpha in Vision because that’s another one that not very intuitive. I finally figured out out to use transfer my image props with alpha but that was a bit arduous! Frédéric « Oaktown »
  14. If I load a 2514x1200 image in the screen and set the Video Source for Vision to Capture Device, it works!!! Here is a screen capture: https://capture.dropbox.com/A7MdXw13PDVCD5uo and a screen shot:
  15. Thanks @bbudzon That's usually where I start to make sure the screen is set right for the work I do. 2514x1200 is a 44ft x 21ft screen with two WUXGA projectors blended. The NDI stream as you can see in the screenshot is also 2514x1200. Any other thoughts? Here is a 2514x1200 PNG file as screen image.
