  1. @Matt Panzer @Pat Stanford I submitted a bug report. Thanks again @Tom W. for your help.
  2. Thank you for the quick responses to my dilemmas. We have been using the eyedropper tool this way ever since it's been a tool since it can set the default as you draw new walls, roofs, lines, etc. It copied components just fine in 2025, but is now an issue in 2026. The create similar objects tool is nice, but we don't want every wall to have the same renderings, heights, or even caps. When we used the eyedropper tool the wall was set to the same height no matter what wall was picked up and had no renderings on it so we were able to start adjusting from the same point every time. It seems like more bookkeeping to make sure the wall I am creating will have the correct end, start, left, right rendering. I really do appreciate you helping out as what you offered is definitely a solution, but the way we do things it ends up being more tedious. Also sorry about the bigger video. We just got new computers recently and I would normally compress them but I didn't see any issue downloading the video 😅
  3. Screen Recording 2026-01-05 at 3.14.07 PM.mov I attached a video of the issue occurring.
  4. The existing walls are fine, it is when I try to create new walls. It doesn't work correctly in any file whether I start a new wall from scratch or use the eyedropper tool to pick up one of those existing walls.

  6. Tom, you are a genius. Thank you very much. We drop the wall to cover the floor joists so you were correct to assume it was seeing the walls below the doors. And adding a "no show" class is a great fix for all of those door issues.
  7. It does it on every wall I create. It defaults to 3 1/2" as I am drawing it then it will jump to whatever thickness I actually picked up. Unless I manually change the wall component thickness of every wall I draw it will show the wrong numbers. The first image shows I am drawing the wall of a 6" thick wall I picked up the attributes for, but what it actually shows is a 3 1/2" wall in gray so when I actually complete the wall it creates a 6" wall with all the wrong numbers and off the line I tried to draw it on.
  8. Is there any way to get the doors and cased openings to look the way they do in 2025? (attached screenshots) They have the same exact 2D configurations but since there are added "cut planes" I can't get them to look the way we have standardized. The cased opening should have the 11 thickness with a line style (which is what I have in the 2D config.) but it shows just a thick black line as the wall line. Can the empty openings where the doors are be "see-thru" also instead of a white block? When I change the fills it doesn't do anything... Not sure if this a wall component thing, door setting issue, or user error. 2026 is the first image and 2025 is the second image.
  9. In 2025 I didn't need wall components and now that I do in 2026 I have no idea what to do. The Overall Thickness in the "Wall Components" tab says 3 1/2", but the actual thickness in the Components section says it is 6", which it is 6" based on the dimension shown. The Object Info also says it is 3 1/2". How do I get it to not show the wrong numbers. It is also affecting the way I draw the walls. They are shown at 3 1/2" in gray, but when I complete the wall it jumps to 6" and it isn't even where I drew the wall. It is offset some distance. Is this another bug? Or is this fixable?
  10. I am having the same issue with direct link not working which is a little frustrating since I have to make a new datasmith file every time I make a change. Started happening as I updated to 2025 Twinmotion and downloaded Sequoia. I have added a post in the vectorworks forum and also the twinmotion forum with no admins responding to either of them...
  11. I have noticed recently when I move a wall that's connected to a perpendicular wall the door on the perpendicular wall will move the same distance as the original wall is moved while using the command M. If I drag the wall it will not move the door but that is a little tedious. Without disconnecting the walls, is there a fix for this? I would like to move a wall without some doors or windows being moved on a wall that I want to leave alone. In the example below, I moved the wall between the powder room and study up 6" and the door moved with it. This does not happen every time I move a wall, but it does enough to be an issue especially when I have to then move 6 or 7 doors and windows and I don't notice it happens.
  12. I use 'extrude along path' for gutters, frieze boards, etc. When I use it, the profile and the polygon are the same class. For some reason, since the beginning of the year, the profile will change to the 'None' class. So when I grab a profile from an existing extrude along path I have to remember to change it to the class that I put it as originally. This is minor but can cause some frustration after finding gutters in the wrong viewports on my drawing sets. Is this a preference I can change that was implemented or is this a bug? Thank you.
  13. I have been having this problem where the direct link will not get recognized in twinmotion. I just had it working earlier today on a different file but it's back to not working. This has been an ongoing issue for the past couple months. Even bought a new computer to try to fix it since I was running an old version of twinmotion assuming that was the issue. I do not want to keep exporting a file because I often make changes to my vectorworks file and it's too tedious exporting, placing materials, etc. for each change. Whereas with direct link it would just update it on the spot. Is this a Sequoia issue or a VW to TM issue?
  14. This is minor, but a bit annoying. When I bring in images that are the same size I would normally use the "unrestricted interactive scaling mode" to scale all images at the same time to the size that I want to fit in my sheets. When I would bring the exported twinmotion images over into vectorworks 2024 I was able to scale them all down at once, but no longer can I do that in 2025. It will show all the corner markers as if they are all selected but when I scale them it only does one at a time.
  15. @Matt Panzer, Thank you. This looks a lot better.
