  1. Not a question necessarily, but today after creating a symbol of a detail, using keynotes to annotate, the file would become unable to open. It wasn't until saving, closing, and trying to reopen that I noticed the problem. I created a new file, referenced in the resources from the corrupted file and then experienced the same problem when trying to reopen the new file later. I tried fixing the symbol and it responded by creating 41 keynote legends(one for every singular keynote) that were completely empty and wouldn't allow me to change what legend to use. It wasn't until I removed the detail with the keynotes that the file was able to open again. Also, it should be noted that when opening the corrupted files, the progress bar would always stop at "Step 6 of 11: Resetting Text and Dimensions." After that I would have to force quit Vectorworks if I wanted to do anything.
  2. I've heard rumors that the "Site Modifier improvements" are a pretty big deal. It sounds like a complete revamp because they figured out a new and improved way to create models. Apparently you should be able to do overhangs now, which would mean being able to have walls with footings and other buried elements that would be able to accurately represent cut and fill and other measurements. Plus 2022, should have some other big reworks that make it worth it in my mind.
  3. I am creating a custom planting worksheet that I would like to show the 2D attributes of a landscape area. If possible, it would be great for a small square filled with the hatch that I have assigned to the landscape area. I've tried =IMAGE() which returns an image as an icon of the small area. I also tried =HATCHFILL() which only returns the name of the hatch and not the actual 2d graphics. Am I missing something? Or is there another way to get this to work? Thanks.
