  3. hello, i am having issues with the process of creating dormer windows i place the dwindow and then ungroup, make it into a symbol and drag it to the face of the roof. it creates it this way which i dont understand why?? the window itself is facing away of from the face of the dormer room wall ASDFASDFDFFFFF.pdf
  4. I looked into the settings but everything seems okay also my model is not showing over the topo
  5. topo contour lines not showing in 2D plan.
  6. Thank you tom and everyone else, i will try what tom mentioned and adjust every wall manually
  7. I DID THE SYMBOL MODE, BUT LOOKS LIKE THE WALLS DISAPEARED AFTER I ATTEMPTED THE SYMBOL. I THINK ITS BECAUSE I HAVE THE LEVELS LINKED TO STORIES, WHICH MADE THE WALLS DISAPEAR.
  8. WOULD THIS AFFECT THE STORIES SET UP. WHEN ADJUSTING A WALL AND HAVING A GABLE ROOF FOR EXAMPLE ATACHED WITH THE WALL, WILL IT AFFECT ANYTHING?
  9. I AM WONDERING HOW I CAN HIDE LINES SHOWN ON SOME WALLS IN THE 3D MODEL I HAVE TWO WALLS NEXT TO EACH OTHER BUT THEY SHOW THE MIDDLE LINE, I AM WONDERING HOW I CAN MAKE THIS HIDDEN IN THE 3D MODE
  10. I am trying to work on multiple models and have them all follow 1 original model. i am new to vectorworks. basically in other programs such as sketchup you can create components of an original main model and they will all follow it when making changes without having to change every single one. In vectoworks i designed a townhouse which i copied 5 times next to each other and i need them all to follow the main model so i dont have to jump into each one and manually change each one. I will waste alot of time doing this.
