  1. Wait... I did exactly what you said and it worked...that's weird that the changing of the radius worked but not the push pull...I wonder if it has to deal with getting converted to a complex solid addition rather than a single solid addition. Thank you for your help.

  3. I tried pulling the sides of the cube away from the tangent faces of the sphere and it still failed. I'm watching so many videos just trying to do this becaue I don't know if taking this into blendr will maintain the solid form. Video below of testing the above. 4. I've attached an image below and the file from it. I'm not allowed to share what the actual item I'm trying to deform, but I need this to work. Whenever I select a surface to deform as it does in the video, it properly shows the preview of the shape, but it doesn't stay that way once I finish the click. Is there any advice or help I can get to make this work? Vectorworks Spotlight 2023 - [Untitled 1] 2023-07-11 19-27-56.mp4 Deform Test.vwx
  5. Oh wild! I didn't realize that was the interaction! That's awesome! Thank you!
  6. Below are two screenshots of the same sheet layer. Does anyone have a work around to this without making things absolutely terrible. My goal: the greyed kneewall and the sheets above it to be greyed beam in the front to be solid black and to cast out the overlapping lines VW 2023 SP 5 My current solution since it's such simple geometry (a rectangle) was to annotate over it with the desired look, but in the future it would be helpful if there is a workaround.
  7. @BartHays Here's the file itself. If anyone can find anything. I tried finding the crop object, but I'd just have to create one. Band Decking for vwx.vwx
  8. Below is an image captured of my current work and I'm trying to figure out why the selection of such a small viewport all of a sudden is so big. Going into the annotations there is nothing invisible or otherwise that extends out so far, and the crop is accurate. So why is this happening. I like using the align and distribute tool and everytime this happens, I have to draw a new shape to "symbolize" the viewport. --Using Spotlight 2023 SP. 5-- Viewport in question is a detail viewport @ 3" scale off of an existing viewport @ 1/4" scale.
  9. In the picture below, I have a series of three Line Lights in between those inset forms. The renderworks texture on the facing is a black porcelain for the reflection aspect and the counter part is a WHITE marble. Because the light isn't giving me anything to work with it just desaturates everything. I currently have the line lights set to 100 brightness at 1650 lumens, and I've checked to make sure all of the line isn't covered by an object already. So I'm super confused. Help?
