  1. Hi Benson, Thanks so much for looking into this. I really appreciate it. My model works!!
  2. Thanks Jeff, the existing surface looks better now. I added some site modifiers to this existing surface model for a cut and fil calculation. Here is the new problem that I have. The proposed surface (1' interval contours from the 2D display) looks mess. The following are the process that I have been done: 1. An existing site model was created by converting a set of 2D contours into 3D polygons and set their Z value, then used "create site model from source data" generated the site model. The existing site model was generated with no problem. As shown below: 2. I put 3D source data to a set of proposed 2D contour lines (polylines) by using “2D Polys to 3D source date”. I used "Create Objects from Shape" set them as site modifiers and put them on the class "Site-DTM-Modifier". The site modifiers’ layer was assigned to the site model. Site modifiers are in red on the following image: 2D display proposed. After updating the site model, the site model “2D Display” showed several depressions between site modifiers. The “3D Display” showed some of the proposed surface between two proposed contours (site modifiers) connecting to the existing surface. There are a few things that I also have checked: 1. Site modifiers (contours mode) applied to the proposed surface. 2. Grade limits applied to proposed surface. With all this, I could not figure out which part went wrong. Any suggestions? A new file attached. Thank you. Site Model-troubleshooting.vwx
  3. I am working on a site model in 2020. The model was generated by using 3D polylines. Once the model was done, I found there two 17' contours were not visible. I have checked classes, layers, site model's max elevations and min elevations,... etc. no lucky. In the 3D mode, I checked the elevation inside those two areas, it gave me Z:17', which means the model is correct, but just missing two contours in 2D display. I attached the site model 2D display screenshot, where the two 17' contours are missing. And a Polyline TOPO screenshot shows the location of the two contours. Site Model-troubleshooting.vwx
