What is the OS product you are trying to import? Is it Mastermap, VectorrMap Local or one of the others? I have imported many OS maps and may be able to offer a suggestion.
  2. In VW 2016 you could create a custom line type using a small rectangle and assign it a sketch style which would display in a viewport with the sketch style. This no longer seems to work in VW 2017 unless I am missing something. Could this be a bug? If anyone has any ideas on this I would be interested.
  3. Do you have any 2D spot heights? as 3D contours can be created from these.
  4. Thank you very much. I figure out where to attach the node but couldn't find the correct node to attach, there are so many. Thanks again.
  5. Marissa Could you point me in the right direction for inserting a Prefix before the number.
  6. Thank you very much. I will have a look at this over the Christmas Holidays. Merry Christmas
  7. I originally posted this in the Wish List but having watched the first Marionette tutorial this seems like an ideal project for marionette. What I would like to achieve is outlined below. Have you ever just finished a housing layout with say 300 houses plotted and numbered from Plot 1 to Plot 300 and the client comes back with can we turn Plot 6 into a pair of semi-detached houses. That means renumbering from Plot 6 onward. Even with the number stamp this is tedious. I would really like to select a polyline type tool that inserts a number at every click (with a prefix & trailer) so that if I insert another point (eg. between Plot 6 & Plot 7) it will shift all subsequent numbers on one digit. Even better if it could be used to number on plot parking spaces (as different house have more or less spaces) and by holding down a modifier key you could insert 3 or 4 instances of the same number. But where to start? Any tips would be appreciated.

Santa are you listening?
  9. Any progress on fixing the problems with Property Lines?
  10. When I try and clip a Property line with a simple polygon it displays the message "Illegal object(s) selected. This seem to be a step backward of is it just a glitch in VW.
  11. In VW2016 I could clip, intersect and subtract areas from Property Lines using a any polygon. In VW2017 this is no longer possible. What has gone wrong?
  12. Correct the limitation is only in the spreadsheet. I have inserted around 20000 rows in a database.
  13. The current Worksheet in Vectorworks is limited to 4094 rows which is incredibly limiting if importing large amounts of data from Excel or similar. Is there some technical reason why there is this limitation? I would like to see a dramatic increase in this number.
  14. It seems you can only create a worksheet of 4094 rows. This seems very poor and not much use if copying and pasting from other spreadsheet applications. I will add this to the Wish List.
  15. Its part of a previous post where I am attaching heighht data from a .csv file that can be opened in excel and copy and pasted in the VW worksheet. I have managed to make the process work with some sample data of about 80 rows but in the real world for a large project the is a considerably large. I am just trying it out on an old project which has about 30200 values. If the VW worksheet is a database it can accept this number of rows but not as a spreadsheet.
