  1. OK. I'll wait to hear back from Tech Support. Thanks Kevin
  2. It's strange. Earlier Vision 2022 started with no problem. After running an update on Vision 2022, it no longer recognizes to dongle license. I'm pretty sure that the license is valid until February 2023. It did allow me to install Vision 2023 with no problem. I have an email in to tech support.
  3. I just installed Vectorworks 2023 and Vision 2023. I have a Vision license for 256 universes. Vision installed fine using my dongle, but will not recognize the dongle at launch. Vision 2022 starts up normally. I do not have a serial number for Vision since 2020. My license is good until February I believe.
  4. Thank you Rob. The vision guys completed 2 fixtures for me. When I update the Vision library on my Mac, they show up. The Vision library on my PC won't update. It just sits there.
  5. I'm having the same issue and I know that there are updates available. The library updates when I run the updater on a Mac, but not on 2 different windows machines. The Vision guys built some profiles for me. They update on the Mac, but not the PCs. But, even on the Mac, after updating and using the symbols they sent me for Vectorworks, no fixture modes show up in Spotlight.
  6. Understand about the GDTF files. Through Vectorworks Service Select I requested a GTD 1500 GTD Profile and an Acme 600Z. I received a response saying that these are available in the download section. I downloaded the files and pulled them into my favorites files. They are there, but no fixture modes. I also requested 2 fixtures through the Vision page, a GTD 1500 Wash and an Omarte Ares P6. I have not heard anything about these. The point of requesting these fixtures is to do a pre-viz of a show I have coming up in Beijing in about 10 days. I thought that when I imported these fixtures they would show up in both Spotlight and Vision, but apparently I am wrong. In the past, the Vision guys have built some fixtures for me. They would not show up when updating libraries in Vectorworks or Vision, and they had to send me the .wad file. Once I replaced the .wad file, all was OK. If I need fixtures built for use in Spotlight/Vision, am I better off requesting them through the Service Select page or the Vision page? Right now, I have no way to pre-viz using any of these 4 fixtures. I'm not sure which direction to go from here. Thanks,
  7. I just had the tech guys build me 2 profiles for fixtures I will be using in China. They emailed me and they show up in the new fixtures area of Service Select. I downloaded that file and added the fixtures to my favorites file. They show up, but there are no fixture modes shown. If I go to other, they are not shown under their respective manufacturers. I think that I've had this issue in the past and they have had to send me the WAD file. This is true on a Mac and on a PC. The fixtures do not show as available in Vision 2020 at all, even after updating the library. Also true on a Mac and a PC, Also in VW 2020, no matter what fixture type I insert, there is never a GDTF fixture mode available, and selecting other brings up the correct dialog box, but all that is available are generics. I emailed back to the guys who built the profiles but the email was returned as undeliverable. Any suggestions?

  9. Problem solved. We had to go into device manager on the PC running Vision and disable the physical Wi-FI adapter. There must have been a driver change or a system file change in one of the Windows recent updates because I've never had to do this before.
  10. I've been using Vision 2019 and 2020 on a PC driven by Hog3 PC on a mac laptop using Bootcamp, Windows 10, for quite a while. I haven't used it for a few months. Both computers ping back and forth with no problem. Firewalls are off on both machines. When I try to connect Hog3PC to vision, the hog connectivity box pops up as expected. Initially, it says 'Wholehog network found' and 'installing network OK'. The moment the DP loads on Hog3PC, this changes to 'connecting'..'No Server'..'Scanning for show Port 6600'. DMX monitor shows no input in vision, Hog3PC shows DMX output. I have tried reloading software on both machines, changing the order I launch the apps, verifying that the firewalls are inactive, disabling all other network connections, etc.Issue is the same on Vision 2019 and 2020. I think that I even tried it with Hog4 PC with the same result. I don't know if it's an issue with Hog3PC or Vision. I'm completely stumped, as is my son with a BS in Computer Science. I just picked up an actual Hog 3 Full Boar. If that has the same issue, I'll be even more stumped. Any ideas?
  11. Thanks for letting me know. I have downloaded 2020, I just haven't had time to play with it yet. What does 'Flip winding order' do?
  12. Is there any chance of this being available 'on demand'? Unfortunately, I'm working all day on the 23rd.
  13. Thanks. It's just frustrating. I had VW build me a profile for a PRG Best Boy GC to replace a standard Best Boy. I thought that it would be a simple swap. I've done a bunch of fixture adjustments in Vision, so I really don't want to have to re-export the drawing from VW. I may just delete the fixture and add in the proper one. I also had an issue with Vision not showing the new profile even after you guys had uploaded it and I updated fixtures in Vision. I had to have him send me the wad file to get it incorporated. This happens on a Mac and a PC.
  14. Bummer. I had to do a lot of fixture tweaking in Vision and didn't really want to re-export from VW. Maybe I'll try deleting it and adding a new fixture.
