  1. Thanks to both of you! I was really feeling frustrated but now I know I'm not doing anything "wrong". I'll read through that post and decide what to do.
  2. I updated from 2021 to 2022 and when I try to use plants from a saved file or favorites they take on the size of the previous plant used. All of the plants in templates are 1g plants all of a sudden and even when I save as a new template the plants are still defaulted to 1g plants. They also automatically show the tag and I had those all turned off. Any idea why this would happen or how I could fix it? It's terrible to change the size of every plant before I place it and turn off every tag.
  3. Thanks for the reply, Pat. I didn't get any notifications that there was another reply to my post so I'm just now seeing it. I was able to get the resource manager to dock to the side. Works well on a an ultra wide monitor. Not as well when I'm just using the laptop screen.
  4. Thank you Michael. Thats a big help. I didn't realize I could just double click plants in the resource manager instead of having to use the plant tool dropdown menu. Now I can just import the plants to my drawing and dock the resource manager on the side and plant away!
  5. Hey, I'm new to using Vectorworks and I'm trying to find ways to speed up and smooth out my design process. When using the plant tool is there a way to keep the resource selector window open or docked to the side of the screen? at least some kind of key I can press that will open it? I know its kind of a nitpick but it feels slow to have to accurately click the dropdown to open the list of plants when I'm placing plants. I've tried using spacebar to pull up the smart option menu by the cursor but the animation is slow and kind of laggy and if I set it to pop up after idle time its really hit or miss. Thanks
