here is the file with the grapples converted to truss

Please check again. You might need to rename the file when posting again. It's possible the system pointed to the old file with the same name. This grapple is not a truss object.

Please consider downloading VW 2026. It's the version I'll be testing with. The bridle tools have had some major updates.

Why are the 5pin XLR cables acting like power cables?

Data is not fully supported yet and the cable will attach to any empty power circuit in a device. If you have both a power component and an input/output that you've assigned as an XLR connector, it will work... Provided that the power circuit is already occupied. The pecking order for which connectors are connected first is determined by the insertion/stacking order of the internal components.

    staggered breakouts

This is actively being worked on.

Is there a recommended workaround so I don't end up with incorrect power cable counts?

Cables and cable sections have slack fields. For a breakout with 10' tails, put -10' (minus ten feet) in the slack field to subtract the tail length. This will remove all the unneeded jumpers that are less than ten feet.
For staggered, you'd subtract lengths for each tail.

ML1.Bkr 1A is the name of the Overcurrent Device in the Symbol that I dropped.

The automatic functions of data use the breaker info. You can change these by editing the distro's 3D symbol breaker names and saving them in your favorites. I Keeping them unique will help avoid data conflicts. One catch here is that breaker #1 is shared and used by both the 120 circuit 1 and the first leg of the first 208 circuit.

Yes it was the label legend!

I was just typing a reply. @Nikolay Zhelyazkov examined the file and figured out the LL thing.

It's because of the reference symbol in the label legend. It has the connectors and all lights using it are adding them to each light. I changed out the reference image to a new light without the electrical components and reset all the devices by swapping them out with a new unit and back again. Once this was done, the lights maintained the correct connectors.
    Here's my test file.

1- What is the difference between Path and Profile edit? I understand the path, but not the profile.

I don't think this applies to aisles. It's likely a generic edit dialog and would apply if you were editing a building slab.

When editing the path of an aisle, if I click on the little eye (Show objects outside edit context),

Though this could be a bug, I'm checking, it's likely that this is because the aisle is acting as a subtraction cutting object and not actually part of the seating section. The two may not know about each other when you're in edit mode.

How should I suppose to edit the shape blinded? I have to erase the aisle and create a new one from scratch.

You can draw a new shape over the first, then delete the first, and then use the Aisle's Convert mode to convert your new shape into an Aisle object.

Not a question, but more of a complain: It's impossible to create an 6ft aisle with a 6ft wide rectangle. The rectangle has to be 71" wide and you offset it by 1". In other words, when the rectangle touches the seat, it disappears!

This might depend on the unit tolerance you're using. It makes sense that a six-foot-wide aisle will remove a seat touching at exactly 6'. Think about the width of a saw blade on a piece of wood. The kerf needs to remove some material to make the cut.  Remember that the seat symbol bounding box might be ever-so-slightly wider than you see and it's the bounding box that might be the cause.

I think the Aisle Tool needs a bit of love.

Uhm, understatement... It's on our list.

  7. Rigging or Electrical?
The easiest way is to open an existing cable style library file in the RM, make duplicates, and then edit them to match your needs. You'll need to make edits to the cable names and to the records attached to each.

So in order to have the sizing I want, I'd need to start over from scratch essentially?

    Nope. You'll need to

delete all objects created when the command is run from the resource manager.

Once you've deleted all the items added when the schematic was created, you'll have a clean slate to try again using a larger grid space setting.

schematic with 1 light and 1 circuit, with a cable length of 5', the schematic lines are 50' in length

It's kind of hit and miss and depends on the scale you're working in.
Play with the Schematic Objects Grid settings. I usually start with either 3" or 6", and I usually work in 1/2" scale on my layers.

I tried adjust the power planning schematic settings but those don't seem to do anything.

Important... Once you run the schematic command, it will continue to use the grid setting from the first go. Changing it afterward doesn't help.
When testing, I build a file and save it. Then I test. If I don't like it, I revert to saved and try again until I'm happy.

If you want to update an existing file, it's best to delete all objects created when the command is run from the resource manager. It's in these objects that the text boxes exist and changing the grid scale does not update existing items.

  10. Cables are placed based on the internal connectors of the devices being patched. Adding True1 connectors to your devices for use in VW is a multi-step process. The devices need to have the internal connectors set to use True1. The cable XML file will need to include a True1 entry. You'll need True1 cables in the cable styles file.

Please post a sample file so that the collective can take a look.
