The detail level on the viewport did the trick. What about seeing it on the design layer is there a preference setting?

I updated a plan from an older version and the door frames do not view correctly. The original file started as a v2009. Updating to v2021 i have the problem. I tried updating to v2015 and the frames and jambs showed correctly. Then I updated to v2019 and everything looked correctly, but when I tried updating again to v2021 i still had the problem. Any idea what the problem is?
