thanks for the advice but recreating refernces for all files for all live projects whenever you open them is not a workable option there must be others who use wg refs between os x and os9, how do they get around this?

i have users on vectorworks 10 on windows 2000/xp, mac osx and mac os9 workstations workgroup referencing works between the osx and windows users as the server name and file path is stored in the same format e.g. 'x:\project\file' os9 vwks v10 stores the referenced file paths as 'server::project:file' this appears to be a significant shortcoming in the software and am hoping there is a method that allows windows, osx and os9 to co-exist and reference data? regards sta 500

hello have checked this and still runs slowly with options checked and unchecked have now installed vw 11 on o.s. 9.1 g4 mac and is also running very slowly while other applications ok

hello am running g5 with 1gb ram and os x 10.3.4 all applications run fine including vw 10.5 having installed vw 11 everything still runs fine but vw runs at a snails pace any suggestions?
