Hello. I am an Architect and have been using AutoCAD for over 20 years. I have found that it hangs up frequently and is incredibly sluggish. My computer is a custom. Parts have been carefully selected and assembled. It has:
Intel i9 Processor
64 GB. High Speed Ram
1 TB SSD (Windows and Drivers)
2 TB SSD (All programs)
2 TB SSD (Media)
NVIDIA 2070 Super Graphics Card
ASUS Gaming Motherboard
Liquid Cooled
Windows Pro 64 Bit.
I need a AutoCAD alternative that is quick and stable. The endless features are merely a distraction. Most people who use CAD for their careers will realize this. A CAD program that can draw 2D lines, curves.... utilize multiple X-refs and layers; and still run quick and stable. This is what is truly important. Everything else, again; is just a cheap distraction.
Does Vectorworks CAD enable the user to draw quick and with stability? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
