@michaelk I've figured it out. Somehow the Symbol insertion tool itself was put into "symbol pick up mode" (not sure what thats for or how it got there) and I put it back into "Standard insertion mode" and it's back to normal. Thank you!

@michaelk Thank you, but thats not the problem, The Symbol Insertion Tool wont seem to select an object at all.

Hey Y'all, I'm a Sound Design student using VW for school and something isn't working. Problem: I was working on a rock concert mock up and I was placing in microphones, then suddenly VW simply wouldn't place symbols anymore. I would just give me a message in the lower right that said "A symbol needs to be selected." I already restarted the program, I sent my file to my instructor and they could place symbols just fine, and I'm currently in the process of reinstalling VW. Has anyone had this problem before or have any clues on why its happening? Thank you!
