  1. Thanks a lot @Tom W. Indeed the bottom of my wall is above the bottom of the roof. However if I lower it (attached) , same results , no wall closures Wondering a reason tying the wall closure to where the bottom of the wall sits? For now I guess I will be content with using wall edit @Matt Panzer should this be entered as a bug to be fixed?
  2. Hi @Tom W. Yes wall closure settings is present for the insert. Wrappings don't show in both Top/Plan & 3D. When I delete wall peaks , , wall closures come back Edit wall tool works (great!) and wall closures do show. Excuse my ignorance , what is the bottom of the roof? how to set the bottom of the wall to be above/below the bottom of the roof? Thanks for your help Happy that there is a way around it (ie edit wall tool)
  3. Any one has experienced this? I attached 2 screenshots of the wall before and after applying fit walls to objects (roof in this case) basically all the wrappings ( eg. at the window sill) disappear for some reason. I tried 2 options for control : Using wall closure and using insert wall closure override. Same results . Thanks for your help
  4. Guys I need some help. I am experiencing the same issue Design layer info shows on viewport but when i go to the deign layer itself , theres is nothing. Classes / layers are set to show all . All layers are same scale Theres is no object far away from internal origin. I am able to make changes to objects in the design layer if I access it from the Edit Viewport dialog box. But nothing is shown if activate that design layer from the layer organization Edit: My bad , All classes on the layer were turned off 😞 False alert!
  5. Thanks @Tom W. I am on Update 2 but not working with "Vertical Wall Display" as display mode. Only works with "Component Display" One thing I noticed , it affects the new walls I created after updating to VW2026. No issue with walls I created in the file under VW2025. Weird!
  6. I am having the same issue with graphic legend for wall styles.Image is missing from some walls and shown on others. @Sam_UK & @mattryan have figured out what the problem was? The issue seems occurring when "display mode" in "define legend image" is set to "Vertical Wall Display" When it is set to "Component Display" , all the images do show for all the walls. is it a bug? Thanks
  7. I am of the opinion that Vectorworks shouldn't have these types of limitations or impose a code requirement from one region(s) to its global users. It should be left to the building code , the designer's best judgement and finally to his/her liability insurance. My 2-cents. Thanks every one for the input
  8. Thanks @E|FA & @michaelk for chiming in. I still can't wrap my head around the fact there is such a restriction in the stair tool. Hello @Matt Panzer Do you think the above makes any sense? stair tool not allowing 1 riser at bottom of L-Shaped stair? We value your input , always.
  9. Thanks @Jonathan Pickup The stair setting won't allow me to enter "1" as value ( number of risers 1 ). I get an error message different from the one you shared . see below. No options offered to recalculate the number or risers . Dis you use "standard" stair tool? Can you please share a screen shot of the stair settings window ? I looked at the other two tools you suggested , simple stair and custom stair. I was able to get the result I wanted but I would rather use the "standard" stair tool Thx
  10. Hello I am trying to set up an L-Shaped stair with one riser only at the bottom but the stair tool doesn't seem to allow it ! Any idea how to achieve this? thx for helping
  11. Hi @JuanP any update on the Vectorworks / Snapdragon X Windows compatibility? thx
  12. Thanks Tom The project is a small house , so I think I this symbol insertion in wall method should work, however I have never done and would like to learn. Do you mind sharing the Vectorworks file of your example? that will be big help . cheers
