Full-time Designer/Vectorworks
Greetings from Nova Scotia! Solterre Design is a small, integrated high-performance architecture and green consulting firm. We are a team of ten and have been specializing in this field for over 25 years. Our home base is in Halifax, and we are establishing a second office in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia.
We are looking for an experience designer/architect familiar with Passive House and who can take a project from pre-planning to final construction drawings and enjoy working with clients, creating beautiful buildings and being on site working with the contractor to do CA work. Our work ranges from residential to mid-size commercial and institutional. We have used Vectorworks for over 20 years so require someone who is efficient in production, including rendering and estimating capabilities, final design and presentation documents.
The successful candidate will join our energetic crew in studio and be a self-starter/independent person who is comfortable working in both locations. You should like to play crokinole on breaks and be prepared for foodie events in office.
