1 ? Set A Windows Print server with a unique IP. eg : 192.168.5.1 2 ? Setup all printer on the print server by TCP/IP & LPD/LPR 3 ? Set a unique LPD queue for each printer. eg: HP5500 , HP455 4 ? On Mac OS X ... setup printer by using IP printing. eg: IP address : 192.168.5.1 Queue Name : HP455 Select proper driver... All print files will be send to windows printserver. Let the printserver take care all of the printers.

U can zoom it by using Command-3 or 6. I'm not advise U to move print area to meet page border. Try move the page border to match print area. If U got several pages to print from one drawing. Use Layer link to manage it. It sound not important. But it will very helpfull later on.

When U scale any drawing... It always refer to your origin 0,0, point. So.. Manage your drawing & make centre at 0,0, as possible if your drawing no need coordinate / survey unit.

Have you guys trried using LPD Server?? I can say it work 25 times faster than Appletalks & etc.

Aidlin darling... Which protocol are you using for network printing. AppleTalk? LPR/LPD? Rendezvous? etc?? All those perform deferent protocol and speed. Currently , We are running over 100 of Apples with TDS800, TDS400, HP5500PS, HP1055CM x 4 , 5100 x 4 Everything is running perfect. G-Pang

Vw Architects 10.5.1. Running on G5 2.0 Dp, 2 GB ram, Apple 23" HD + Mac Os 10.3.3 It is not crash at all in normal days.But.... when I got very urgent jobs, which is must be complete within hours. I'll push my machine to work up to limit. Vw 10.5.1 will crash when I use it too fast. It start to unstable and follow up by accidently quit. Only Vw is crash, not my machine. I know VW 9 & early 10 was not stable at all. G-pang 8 Years using VW .....Looking for VW 11

Normally, they takes few days to make a move, and I need it within minutes. It is easy if we can do it ourselves..like Autocad. My VW architects 10.5.1 keep crashinbg if I push it up the limits. I don't think my machine is the cause. currently I am running G5 2.0 Dp, 2 GB ram, Apple 23" HD display + OS 10.3.3. It's very frustrating when VW crashed and corrupt the files just hours before delivered. --------------- 8 years using VW.

I think the problem has been resolve under new released Ver. 11
