I used the File>print only a few times and it hasn't crashed using that method. It probably crashed 95% of the time printing today. I am so used to command>p I do it without thinking. The printer is a konica minolta BIzhub C224e.

I have reinstalled the print drivers, deleted and added the printer back.. It still crashes when I use command - P to open the print dialog box. The print dialog box doesn't even open before everything disappears. I have printed through the file menu and publish without any crashing. I am experience no crashing in any other software while printing other than VW. Any insight would be much appreciated.

The print drivers are up to date for Catalina. I am going to try deleting the printer and adding it back to see if that helps.

I recently updated to mac OS Catalina. The majority of the time when I pull up the print dialog box VW crashes. It seems to be happening 75% of the time in different files. I am running mac OS 10.15.3 on an iMac (late 2015) VW 2020 sp 2.1

As I was working I noticed that my design layers started disappearing in the navigation pallet until none showed up. I restarted VW and my computer to no avail. All the design layers show up in the Organization Pallet and the pull down menu. I am seeing lots of weird quirky things since updating to SP4.

If I edit the Design Layers while I am in the Annotation of a viewport and then exit back to annotations I can't select anything. It is very frustrating and time consuming to have to exit annotation and reenter to edit. I only updated to SP4 yesterday and now I wish that I hadn't.

I am have a problem with fill patterns & some objects not printing. I use fill patterns on 2d drawing of Exterior elevations for color & some are not printing at all. I can't seam to figure out what is going wrong.

Does anyone know how well BIM translates from VW to DWG? Our office is thinking of going this direction since most government jobs require or prefer BIM & DWGs. Thanks K

Yeah I would like to know what exactly got fixed too. I have seen this question asked on a few other post & gone unanswered.

I am exporting to PDF & veiwing it in the preview program on the Mac. I printed it on a GCC elite XL 20/1200. Neither place line weight showed up.

When I export to PDF the lie weights .10-.50 all look the same. But .75 shows up as heavier. Does anyone know what could be going on? I am also having another problem. When I print or export all my arcs are showing up jagged? (quartz on & off)

Is there a way to put the insulation symbol into a round wall?

I just figured it out. You have to remove the border then change the line wieght and add the border back.

When I change the line wight of the border in a drawing under format cell - the line wieght reverts back to the defalt (0.03). I can't get it to work.

I am having a PDF problem but not exporting. It is with print to PDF. If I print any size other than 8.5 x 11 it cuts off the drawing. Ever had this happen?
