  1. trying to organize a project for multiple draftpersons to work on a apartment project with repetative apartment modules. What is the best way to develop the modules, that when changes are made to the individual apartments, it updates the 50 times it is used in a project. Are people using symbols or is workgroup referencing a solution?
  2. Another way is to move your plans onto one layer. Go to layers then classes and make all visable. Then > Organize>Layer options>Active only. Then go thrue your layers cutting and pasting on one layer. Each layer you cut and move into the one selected layer, just move it over right after you paste, say about 150 feet. Put you floor plans in the middle, elevations above... Purge unused obects and layers. ...Then export the one layer with everything on it into one dwg file.
  3. Attempting to update(manually or automatically) a workgroup reference causes vektorworks to crash. I had the workgroup reference set to automatic and once I moved the master file out of the directory it was in, then the target file would open but declare that it could not find the file and prompted to located it. ..But at least it would open and not just crash. I can open both files separately, but once I correct the file path to the master and try to update, Vectorworks crashes. Vectorworks 10.5.1 on panther 10.3.2
