  1. Renderworks works the same way. Just assign all of your wall classes the texture desired, it should go seamless. If that doesn't work, try grouping the walls together and then testurizing the group. When grouped, Renderworks seems to view them as one object it needs to texture.

  4. How can I get a really nice image out of VectorWorks? Every exported image I've done comes out jagged. It works, but when used in layering on an existing photo, the realism is just not there because the image looks very pixelly. I've tried increasing resolution, image size, 3d detailing at very high but nothing works. There must be something I'm missing, let me know.
  5. I'm currently working with VW 8.5 on an old 6100 Mac with OS 9. Lately, when the files are fairly complex (lights/transparencies/textures), the raymaker renders only half of the page and then stops, leaving me with that nice checkered pattern over most of my projects. QD works fine, but I need the textures and transparencies. Anyone else have this problem?
  6. I can't answer your max pixel question, but what your describing sounds familiar. If when I export an image I click on the preview button (PC v. 8.5) for file size ect., the resulting image that is saved is blank; a white screen. As long as I don't hit the preview button, I'm fine.
  7. I thinking of getting the office out of the house, and I was curious as to what would be some recomended lap top's, ie, what are you using and how does it behave. Does the processor speed play an important role in the rendering process, or am I correct in assuming that one with plenty of RAM will do the job. Is there an advantage of the Piii over the celeron processor? Just curious, let me know what you prefere, it would aid in my decision making process.
  8. Just an idea, but what if you linked your linked layers together, creating one mega layer? Might work.
