when I print special characters are changed to non special characters (? to lf , ? to ..) I have tested this on OS 9 (problem occurs only w/ Arial, upper & lowercase) I have tested on OS X. (no problem w/ Arial) I have tested on (3) different printers: HP 1055cm plotter HP 4050 laser jet Elite 600 laser jet (I have checked postscript & drivers were up to date, no recorded problems on manuf. web sites) I have tested on VW8.5.2 & VW10.5.1 same results on OS9 (special characters in Arial do not print correctly) works fine in OS X Without upgrading to OS X is there a fix for this problem?

I have been having problems printing special characters. I switched to Arial font, to be more consistant cross platform. I can print special characters (i.e. ?, ?, !=, etc.) in other applications and the character look fine on screen. Any suggestions?
