  1. Hey Pat, that worked! Thank you very much 🙂
  2. Does anyone know how to "combine" the count for multiple instances of the same symbol? Ideally, I'd like to see a count of (7) Can Lights instead of (1) (1) (1) (1) (1) (1) (1).
  3. That's the problem I run into; the solutions are usually pretty simple, but finding exactly where the solution is can be rather... vexing. Thank you again for helping me diagnose this issue!
  4. That fixed it instantly! I feel silly for not noticing that before. Thank you so much 🙂
  5. I'm running into an issue where I'd like the fill of a Section Viewport to be something other than a solid black. This is what's produced when I create a Section Viewport (not the Clip Cube) through the View tab: Here's an example from another colleague's project that I'm trying to emulate, which was produced using the same method as I used in my document: I've tried fiddling with the Background Render Settings in the Object Info panel, but it seems like all of the settings are the same. Is there something I've overlooked?
  6. Thank you everyone! I've successfully resolved the issue, and learned a couple ways on how to fix it in the future. Thank you all so much 🙂
  7. Okay, that's way too cool of a tool; never noticed that one before. Vectorworks has all kinds of surprises!
  8. I feel dumb. Rotating from each angle Rubiks-cube style worked like a charm! Thank you so much! Here's the result of rotating it from a few different standard angles:
  9. Had no idea that command existed! Here's what it produced: If it helps, this object began as a 3D Polyline that I drew at an angle.
  10. Is there a shortcut for getting an object which has been drawn at an odd angle to basically "lay it down" flat on one of the standard planes? I'm prepping an object for CNC fabrication, but need to be able to orient it so that it lays flat on the TOP plane. Normally I'd extract a face and place it on the Screen plane, but this is a complex object (see attachment for reference). Any thoughts are appreciated :)
