  1. Hi! I am completely new to VW. I am trying to figure out how to model a concrete column integrated into a wall so that the core of the wall (brick) is recessed where the columns are located, however insulation and finish is not modified. For slabs it works (if slab intersects with wall the core is correctly solved). Similar functionality is needed for most masonry or skeleton structures, however most often the concrete/steel cores have the same thickness as the brickwork. In attachment a jpg illustrating what I am trying to achieve. How to do this with BIM tools (like walls or columns or generic solids in as little steps as possible with good edibility (for example moving a column and the wall recess simultaneously)). Thanks for help!
