Miscanthus

bear with me...I have used autocadd for 15 years and thought I would experiment with Vectorworks for its plant rendering capability. I am embarassed to say that I cannot even figure out how to erase a line. I cannot even find the word erase in the help index. I have a long way to go to be productive with this software! Can you erase?... and how in the !#@% do you clear a command when you have executed that command? Thanks for the help.
