  1. Hello: We have are just trying one of our employees VW license (9.5.2) to check whether we change our 3d DTM software. Machine is HP XW6000 workstation, 3.06Ghz Xeon Proccessor, 4 Gb RAM, Graphics card ATI Radeon 9500 256 Mb. OS is Windows XP Professional. We know there are some issues with ATI and OpenGL retain, but we are experiencing poor yield in fileds not related to this issue, specially in model development, road calculations, etc. We have also experienced some "runtime" errors which I think to be produced by incompatibility with ATI Radeon (followed the workaround of disconnecting OpenGL retain in Prefs). As long as we think that the machine is powerful enough to deal with our terrain models, what could it be happening? Can we be sure that our problems will vanish if we finally decide to get VW ver. 10? Thank you very much for your help, Best regards. Jose Garcia, Project Director, EdP.
