@Jeremy Best Hi Jeremy, thanks a lot for this deep explanation. Meanwhile i could fix this. As you mention i even found this file on my laptop but with ccleaner it showed up as corrupt. The error message i got was confusing as it referred to Vectorworks instead telling me it's a Windows issue. Anyway, thank you once again.

Hello, does anyone please have an idea why all of a sudden - and though i did not change anything on my laptop nore in Vectorworks - i cannot open Vectorworks any longer. I already completely uninstall and reinstalled Vectorworks (it took me 3 times until it finally worked again) and again ... Vectorworks2020.exe system error - The program could not be started as MSVCP140.dll is missing on the computer. Install the program again to solve this issue. i also checked and i do have a "MSVCP140.dll" on my computer. Thanks for your kind help.

Hi, Thank you. Sure can i post the example file. It is 1 set of table with six chairs. One pic is a snap shot from the plan, the orange one is the same but selected. Currently i am working on scale 1:20. Since i started to learn Vectorworks with the tutorials (of KLC School of Design) i do have this issue. I am using the Vectorworks 2020 student version for Designers. I also attach the file with some rectangles grouped i just made as you asked me to do. I tried this now, but the moment i select the group, the items of the group still are not visible even though i changed the opacities, also changed colours. Any further suggestions? Thank you very much!!

Hello, I am quite new on Vectorworks 2020 and have the issue that each item i selected is marked in bolded orange. So i cannot see what is below. How can i change it to transparent orange please? Thank you!!
