  1. Thanks Tom. So, no fix for them. I could cope if they just stayed in layers. But now also coming through sheets. Is it just a restart? Nicola
  2. Thanks, Pat, for getting back to me on this sorry it's taken so long to respond, I've only just seen this. I still can't figure this out its now happened to a colleagues file and is now showing up in the viewports on sheets. Do you have any idea how to stop this from happening please? Any help would be appreciated. Nicola \
  3. Awesome thanks Tim! That worked how annoying! I was on the phone talking to a client when it happened, so I wasn't sure what i did. Thanks again!
  4. Hi, Can anyone help me with this please? I've spent a few hrs trying to sort it myself but for some reason after changing some arrows styles on my annotations in sheets VW has decided to add them to my walls but only in sheets. I've checked all my classes and made sure arrows are not on in my attribute's pallet, but I can't seem to get rid of them, I'm not sure what I have accidently turned on. Please see images attached. I'm in Vectorworks 2023. Thanks in advance for any help on sorting this. Nicola
  5. Hi, I would love to solve this, I have had this happen with a couple of models and I'm sure it's a simple fix. I get diagonal shapes running through my model and I can turn them off if I turn off certain classes but I'm not sure what causes the problem does anyone have any idea what is the cause and how I can stop this from happening, please? Please see the image attached. Thanks, Nicola
  6. Excellent thanks, Tom, for the quick reply! I'll attempt that today!
  7. Hi All, I'm trained as an interior designer but currently doing a building design course. I have decided to do it in Vectorworks as it's the program I've trained in for my business. Still, the course is being taught ArchiCAD, so I have to figure a lot of stuff out with Vectorworks (I'm currently watching loads of tutorials). Anyway, we have to build a B.V Concrete edge beam to the bottom of our slab, which is 120mm thick. I'm not sure the best way to achieve this with the slab tool, or do I create an extrude around the underneath of the slab? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please see an image of what I have to draw attached. Thanks Nicola
  8. Hi All, Could i please get some help! I'm trying to add the scale formula for my drawing list and I cant seem to find any information on this with how add and update the scale of the drawing in this list please? Or does this need to be individually type in for each drawing? Looking forward to response. Nicola
  9. Hi All, I've created an elevation viewport and I can't edit the extent of the viewport lines. I have the pink lines but I cant pick up the dashed lines to pick up the extent of the viewport and make it shorter. I'm sure its something simple but i'm trying to get a quick staircase elevation done but with no success because of these lines. Please see image attached. Any help would be appreciated.
  10. Thanks to you both. After I posted this I discovered the modifiers but I'll also try the clip surface tool Pat.
  11. Hi, I'm a newbie to Vectorworks and I need to modify a hole I created in a slab as my stairs have moved to the right and i cant seem to find any information on how to do this? Please see images uploaded. In the edit boundary on the right picture I cant access the boundary where the original stair was cut what are the steps to do this please? Thanks Nicola
