@klinzeyThank you so much for your help. I just needed a laser beam or circle. And also there is a part in properties, that's Emmisive tab. There is dmx and universe options. What does it to do?

   Hi everyone!

 

   First of all i'm a new user for VW Vision. Now I'm using the Vision demo version. I have to try with laser for a new design. But i have no Beyond or Ouickshow dongle and beyond and Ouickshow doesn't approve visualation for their demo software.

 

   I just need circle or square efect for laser not animation or gobo. So can i use the generic laser like lighting fixture? For example if i give a dmx addres to generic laser can i use to control from Ma on PC? And also Vision doesnt show the all lasers in it's patch view. If i show it in dmx patch view, I think that i will able to use it.

 

   Who can help about my issue?

Actually, when you say it doesn’t work, what about it doesn’t work?  Can you not open the file?  Will the symbols not import into a drawing?  Note that the symbols are located in a folder in the Resource Manager.   I’ve had several users that were concerned when the symbols did not simply populate the file when opened. 
 

Let me know if this solved the issue for you. Otherwise, this will give me more information to try and track down a solution.

   I started to draw a open air theatre. I finished the all stage. But i can't draw a floor of amphi. I complicated the seating section but there is no floor. I want to draw amphi like a curved stair as i uploaded the photo.

 

   Is there a shortcut of drawing a amphi. If i want to draw with arc, rectangle and push/pull tool but it will long time.

 

   I searched a tutorial or video about this matter. But I couldn't find.

 

   Can you please help me?

Hi Tom! I'm following almost all your post. You're helping to everyone with your knowledge. I couldn't use the nomad. Because it's not seeing the art net or sacn. I don't know where i make mistake. So I download the vista 3 then ı got solve the issue.

Last night i started to try Eos Nomad for mac. I solve some processes but i became sad to nomad needs a dongle and a physical console.

 

For Chamsys MagicQ i researched it little bit. I didn't find its interface useful. I don't think to waste time for it.

 

For Obsidian Onyx; i don't know it. first time i heard its name. So if it doesn't work with mac, it's not wort a shot. 🙂

 

And also you explained your knowledge about all pre-visualization softwares. I'm happy for this. Actually i'm not lighting designer. I want to become a production manager/designer so i need a pre-visualization software for moving curtain, led screen, stage. I want to control them trough dmx address. For two days i was trying to connect grand ma3 to vision. But i couldn't. Because i have no physical wiz-key. So i need a new console software. I'm using mac and i want to control it same comp. Let's be together, everyone share the knowledge & experience. We can help each other.

Hello to all.

I started to learn Vision 2021. I downloaded vision and Grand Ma3 onPC. However ı got some problems. I applied every directions step by step as @JuanP said (

 

However  I couldn't update release_wiz_key_1.4.53.8.xml. because it doesn't appear any xml files. (upload the photo). Is it about ma3 onPC? I can't change the updatemode version. I think updatemode and idlemaster should be same version. (photo 2)

 

And also i have to inform you something. I have no dongle and i have no Gma3 onPC port node. Can't i work without them?

 

Can you please help me about this matter?
