Juan, Is there an email address to send these to? I see a few logs at that folder location - but certainly not as many as I would expect. I always allow the dialog box that pops up to send a crash report. I just assumed these were being sent to Vectorworks?

Is it my imagination OR does it seem like VW 2021 crashes a lot more than VW 2020 ? I will admit, I am a fairly new VW user. Been using it since May 2020. I started out with VW 2020 on a new IMac: Model Name: iMac Model Identifier: iMac19,1 Processor Name: 8-Core Intel Core i9 Processor Speed: 3.6 GHz Number of Processors: 1 Total Number of Cores: 8 L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB L3 Cache: 16 MB Hyper-Threading Technology: Enabled Memory: 32 GB Boot ROM Version: 1037.140.50.0.0 SMC Version (system): 2.46f13 And I don't remember as many crashes when I was using VW 2020. With 2021, it seems like crashes are a daily event. Sometimes multiple times per day. I have set my autosave to 15 minutes - but still, I do seem to be losing work. Which I am not happy about. Anyway, I am open to the idea that it is user error. But I am also wondering if others are having the same problems I am having ? Should I go back to 2020 ? Or should I just give up and get a REVIT license ?

THANKS ! I ended up getting an IMAC. Works pretty good. I might upgrade the memory but it works quite well on most of the files I am working in. There are a couple of design tools that I use that don't have a good MAC version - so I am looking at getting a laptop for running PC based apps.

Thanks Peter, Well - I have found more "plants". But I don't seem to have the "plant" tool in the Architect package. And the additional plants I found show up in perspectives - but do not show in plan. Perhaps I am mistaken, but I thought a plan graphic of the plant would appear when one changed to the plan view? Yes, My initial impression was to get the Designer package to get the functionality that I wanted. I was talked down to the Architect package by a sales rep...Anyway, I am just learning the program and have just now arrived at this point. But I have a pending deadline early this week. I can make things work for now....and now I know for certain the extra functionality that "landscape" offers is what I need. Its a learning process. By the way - I got the VB trees to work quite well. And am using the image prop trees to create a background tree line...and image prop grasses and plants for the foreground. It looks very nice....but the frustrations to get here have been a challenge.

"Hundreds of resource libraries are available for use with the Vectorworks application, and you can add custom libraries, as well." Yeah - I guess I believed that. I choose vectorworks because I loved the plant graphics for site plans. And I was led to believe that some of those tree and plant symbols were included with Architect package. The best I can tell - there are 4 or 5 trees that are so detailed it caused my drawing file to get really large really fast...and I crashed. So do I have to upgrade to Designer to get any of that ?

Does anyone have any experience running Vectorworks on a MAC mini? It looks like these machines are similar in performance to an IMAC. I am a potentially new vectorworks user and am trying to find an optimal hardware set up for running it. Any feedback would be appreciated.
