  1. SteveK, Thanks for the idea. I just went to my workspace directory and moved the last one I modified out of the directory to the desktop and now the program opens fine. Anybody care to send me an unmodified version of the Spotlight workspace? Anybody at Nemetscheck want the one I removed so maybe they can figure out the problem? Thanks, Davy
  2. Any updates on this problem? Thanks, Davy
  3. And I just updated to 12.0.1 and still have the problem. Davy
  4. Stevek, It is also true on my computer that 11.5.1 still works perfectly. Davy
  5. All I've gotten is the couple of replies to this post from Katie. But, no solution yet.
  6. I get the splash screen and then "Vectorworks Application has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvienence." When I click on the click here link to see what the error report contains I get: Error signature AppName: vectorworks.exe AppVer: 12.0.0.49891 ModName: quicktime.qts ModVer: 7.0.4.80 Offset: 000feef1 I got the same with quicktime 7.0.2 and 7.0.3 Davy
  7. Quicktime seems to be working in every other application. It works in both Internet Explorer and in Firefox and in iTunes. But still not in VW12. Davy
  8. I tried the solution here since I was also having problems with Firefox. It fixed that problem but not this one. http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=323551&tstart=90
  9. I've tried both methods including deleting the previous files from the control panel. Neither seems to work. Davy
  10. Katie, I followed your suggestion. There is no choice of a custom installation. VW12 still does not work. Davy
  11. After I installed the latest security updates from Micros..t VW 12 will not finish starting up due to an error with quicktime. I've tried every version of quicktime from the ones on the VW install disk up through the latest version. Same problem. Any suggestions. Thanks, Davy [ 01-13-2006, 03:24 PM: Message edited by: Davy ]
  12. It seems that Spotlight will not deal with circuit numbers like 10-4. IS this correct? Is so how are other people labeling circuits or are you simply using a continuous string of numbers? Or are you using the circuit name box? Thanks, Davy
