Im trying to create a structure (similar to the attached photo) but "dripping" on a column. I modeled the column in 3d using loft and have drawn a pattern of polygons(see attached photo). Attached you can see my settings for the surface array. when I make the form the holes are covered with a mesh(see attached photos). is there any way to get rid of these "background" mesh pieces so I can see through the holes?
