I'm wondering what the best practices are for an AutoCAD 2018 user making 2D and 3D files of a theater space that will be used by lighting, sound, and scenic designers.
I'm mostly curious how best to draft the grid positions so that they will translate nicely to vwx. format and Lightwright functionality.
I'm already working towards creating plan, section, and elevation views of the different parts of the space, independently of the full 3D model of the space and all the hanging positions, I just want to make sure that 3D extrusions of the pipes are a useful thing for my designers, or if circles and rectangles can be assigned easily for the Lightwright usage
