I have Vectorworks v10.1.2 including Renderworks running on the Mac OS9 platform. I have supperimposed my design on an appropriate imported background and rendered it using the final quality option.
Looks good apart from there being no ground shadows. Can I create a temporary or transparent 3D polygon to simulate the ground, cast the shadows onto it and then extract them, or superimpose them onto my final rendering. I do not have access to any other graphics software therfore it must all be achieved within Vectorworks.

I run Vectorworks v10.1.2 on Mac OS9 at the headquarters of a group of companies.
I design product for the group. One of these companies runs 6 seats of IdeasMasterSeries v9M2.
I am unable to export dxf to them since my Mac creates a 'carraige return' within the dxf script which the Ideas program cannot import and gives 'error on filing'. If I take the same drawing and give to a colleage that runs Vectorworks on a PC platform and he exports it to dxf, Ideas is able to import it without a hitch.

Is there a work around, or any modification I can undertake to achieve a usable dxf without the inherent carraige return.
