  1. I've just upgraded my system to Big Sur. vector works now has an unusual condition. When I draw an object (free hand line for example), it remains invisible until I move my mouse scroll wheel. Which means I can't see what I am drawing until after. Even deleting an object has this condition. affected tools seem to be, free hand line, Text, Callouts. I'm wondering if this is a problem with Vectorworks or OS big Sur? VWX problem.mp4
  2. I had similar problem with the DWG export stopping, apparently the file name had an unusual character in it. once I adjusted the file name I could export.
  3. I am hoping someone can help me with this. I need to send shop drawings to an aluminium panel producer. The VWX files we do are great on our design end, but when we convert to dwg i get nothing but complaints. I only send stripped down versions(no symbols, or anything strange) just rectangles, polygons, circles, labels (I convert them to be just text & polygons). I put everything into a new file then export. The CAD guy, at the shop, says he can't use the circles in his panel software because they show up as segmented series of lines. I have purchased an Autocad lt licence to help. I discovered my VWX skills don't transfer well to AC and I would rather not spend my time learning a new program. I'm hoping I'm just missing something simple, I guess I just need to know if maybe my procedure is incorrect. Thanks. Viewstar # 705 DWG export.vwx
