  1. Dave, Sorry for the delay in responding to your more specific questions - here's our reply: > >1. How much RAM is on this machine? Over 1 Gb. - actual config. is DIMM0=256Mb, DIMM1=512Mb, DIMM2=512Mb >2. Is this slowdown with one particular file, >or all files rendered? All file renderings are affected the same way. Mark
  2. Dave, In answer to your reply: 1. I can send you a Apple System Profiler report for the system in question tommorow, but I recall the RAM installed is 1 - 1.5 Gb. 2. The issue is with all files which are rendered - if you want a sample file please let me know where to send it. Mark [ 09-10-2003, 07:54 PM: Message edited by: Mark Clough ]
  3. Users are experiencing extremely slow rendering speed when running either VectorWorks/RenderWorks 9.X - 10.x in Mac OS 10.2.6. General overall rendering speed decline is approximately 4 times slower (e.g. a small render did take 40 seconds under Mac OS 9.x - now down to 2.5 minutes). User has tried OpenGL but results were poor quality. Customers require 3D Conversion Resolution Setting at High, and Custom Rendering Detail Setting at High. Can anyone recommend a solution which not affect the quality (resolution) of the final rendered image mcloug1@hallmark.com [ 09-10-2003, 02:13 PM: Message edited by: Mark Clough ]
