But why would it change from a single address field. It changes the way you have to number fixtures. you can't use the spotlight numbering with one field, now it has to be two that have to be edited.

The new way the vectowroks handles lighting address' is completely backwards from previous years. Before, the "address" field could be written as 2/101. This would then auto fill the universe column to 2. The difference now is that the address is now handled as universe/address, making it two seperate fields to manage. where the industry treats it as one field. when you patch a console, it reads as 2/101. In order to spotlight number address now you have to edit the universe and dmx address fields. Why would Vectorworks go backwards in time? Anybody have any solutions or workarounds for this?
