  1. I understand what you mean, having used Revit for quite some time while there are many frustration in Revit but there are other things I like such as additional 2d lines on top of a 3d model etc. Depends on whether you need the section to be linked with the 3D model to update on any changes further down the line, if not you could convert the section to a 2D line drawing in designer layer and add any further details needed. Alternatively I tend to add them on annotation layer in the viewport. Typically for the work that I do, I model everything in 3D.
  2. Check the class / layer option ? Sounds like the viewport is on an inactive class
  3. I can also confirm that VW2020 works on Catalina. I have been using it on a mac mini. 3.2 GHz 6-Core 16GB ram Does seems a little heavy on the ram side, but are planning to upgrade in the near future. Most of the time graphic card seems to perform ok, but a little slow on complex models.
  4. @Boh Thank you so much, thats exactly what I was looking for.
  5. I was wondering how do I setup a default style for viewport's drawing label please? I have tried editing the built-in plugins in Plugin Manager, but that doesn't seems to work. Many thanks in advance Peter
  6. @milezee try change the mapping (the right hand side column) to 3D Mouse Roll Left / Right the tilt function should work. if all fail, maybe try raise a support ticket with 3Dconnexion.
  7. @Kevin McAllister Thanks a lot.
  8. You are certainly able to spin the model, that function is actually mapped as roll in 3D connexion rather than ‘spin’ Sadly you are not able to tilt them sideways, I don’t think you can actually do that anyway.
  9. I have similar issue with the Spacemouse, after much trial and error I realise that the Spacemouse for vectorworks is poorly mapped and often mirrored. I think spin isnt a function supported in Vectorworks. here is what I got to working so far. hope this helps
  10. Hi all Recently started working with Vectorworks again, and I have been trying to model a 3 way arch. I was wondering what is the best way to join these 3 loft surfaces together please? regards Peter
